my Haiku from the brick issue

Darkness is silent
A place of contemplation
Tranquil and peaceful

Fading into sleep
The flowers close for the night
To dream of morning

The stream gently flows
Into the peaceful valley
Then calmly drifts on

These next three haiku were titled "Three Movements" because of the common action of movement that occurs within them.

The river within
Continuously searching --
For a place called home

Weary memory
Of a monumental change
Gliding through my dreams

Invisible force
Gliding indifferently
A simple motion

Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry that is based on a three line outline; the first line being five syllables, the second line being seven syllables, and the third line being five syllables
