The Brick Issue was released May 2, 2009. The issue features a conglomeration of poetry, artwork, stories, lyrics, and a review of the Brick Coffee House Store located on D Street. Much of the issue was inspired by the album "The Wall," a poem based on titles of songs from "The Wall" album was contributed by staff member Anthony Martinez. The issue featured a profound collection of poems including multiple pages of Haiku by myself and my brother Ben Currier. Cover design was by Amanda Martinez. The issue displays work by workshop contributors who were Joe Burdick, Mark Bower, and Colin Ransom. The Brick issue is yet another magnificent achievement of Intrepid Press.
